Morocco has one of the most significant fossil deposits in the world and you can find hundreds of small fossils in the souks of Marrakesh. To celebrate the geological history of North Africa, I combined fossils with silver and ‘Kamsa’ pendant, commonly worn by people for ‘protection’ of the evil eye or negative energy. The pair celebrates the history, ethnicity, and beliefs of the North African.
